Check Out My Latest Projects

“UNDER GOD, VOL. I”

For those of you interested, I’m currently on a mission to BLOW UP Hip Hop songs

My purpose is to help bring artists dreams to life. I will not stop until I find a perfected, step by step process that will get artists visions from Point A to Point B

Let’s take a look at my current process…

Step 1: Identify The Vision

During Step 1, our main goals are to:

- Understand what sounds, ideas, and inspirations are being used for the song/project

-1on1 call/proof session where we brainstorm and get direction

Here are my original notes following the brainstorm session with AZ The Alpha for our latest project “UNDER GOD, VOL. I”

* the title was finalized after the songs for the project were finished. The main idea is we brainstormed themes and sounds beforehand and ironed out the rest after the music was done

Step 2: Making the Vision A Reality

After establishing a vision, I will then:

- Create beats for the song/project

- Mix vocals that artist records

- Go back and add elements to the song that emphasize the vision

- Master the song/project

Here are some beat breakdowns from instrumentals used on “UNDER GOD, VOL. I”

Here’s additional footage of AZ and I recording finishing touches on our song “BROKE”

Step 3: Create An Experience

After the song/project is complete, we will then:

- Create an aesthetic around the vision

- Brainstorm, shoot, and edit the cover

- Music Video/Short form content

- Additional unique content

Here are the original album cover sketches for “UNDER GOD, VOL. I”

Here’s how the album covers turned out …

Here are some examples of content that was created for the rollout of “UNDER GOD, VOL. I”. We wanted to “mock” how labels generally roll out an artists projects to show how you don’t always need a label backing a project to create a successful rollout

Here is the FULL video of a Mass Appeal “Rhythm Roulette” parody we made

Here is the full music video we shot for our song “NARCISSISTIC”

Step 4: Delivering the Experience

After creating an experience, we then deliver to the masses through:

- SubmitHub/Playlist Submissions

- Running Ads (Meta/Instagram and TikTok)

- Content Release Schedule

Here’s the content release schedule for “UNDER GOD, VOL. I”

Here’s some examples of short form content we utilized to run advertisements

* We found that running ads expanded our music beyond our current following and was a great way to grow our audience *

* Playlist submissions via SubmitHub were also highly effective in audience expansion, but primarily for Spotify numbers and radio spins *

Step 5: Data Analysis

After delivering the experience, we will finally:

- Identify our audience

- Track and analyze our data (streaming, playlist submissions, content engagement)

- Understand what went well and what didn’t for future reference

Here are some numbers and conclusions I came to following the release of our latest project

* The first conclusion we came to was how effective ads and playlisting were. I personally jumped from 23 monthly listeners to 1,766… that’s a 7,621.74% increase! *

* Additionally, my top song prior to this release only had 247 streams. Our top song on “UNDER GOD, VOL. I” is currently at 2,526… which is a 922.67% increase in top song streams! *

* Another surprising conclusion we came to was the inefficiency of full length music videos. The “NARCISSISTIC” music video consisted of 80% of our budget, and only yielded 76 views currently. Yes, we had decent feedback on socials and were able to chop clips for short form content, but overall, the input cost/workload did not justify the result. *

* We believe this is partially due to the changing attention spans of the average consumer. Most people only watch videos for 30 seconds to a minute max. Posting a 3-4 minute music video and expecting our audience to watch the entire thing is a big ask. *

Being our first project, I’m super excited for what we accomplished numbers wise. Going forward, I want to dive deeper into short form content, playlisting, and advertisements. With the majority of consumer attention currently focused on short form, I believe this will be crucial in taking songs from 2-3k streams to millions.
